French Farm is a stylish vineyard and restaurant located within Akaroa Harbour of the attractive Banks Peninsula. The building is reminiscent of the French Provincial style set within a small sheltered valley, surrounded by native vegetation adjacent to a stream. Spaces of varying sizes were created for both large and small groups of people while still maintaining inherent values of the location. The courtyard was designed for large groups such as weddings and included the use of coloured concrete, tile inlays, pergolas draped with vines and local stone.
